Dr. Debra L. Robinson was first elected to the Palm Beach County School board in 2000 and has been re-elected subsequently. She currently serves as the Vice Chair of the School Board. Prior to serving on the board, she began advocating for her sons’ education in Palm Beach County Schools, which led to her becoming a tireless education advocate for all students in the community.
Since being a voice on the Palm Beach School Board, I am credited with improved graduation rates for all students, including a jump from 49.4 percent to 63.8 percent for black students and 57.6 percent to 75 percent for Hispanic students.
Limit charter school approvals unless the proposed school fills a need not addressed by the Palm Beach County School District.
